Adolph Herman Toepfer’1926 DSC
1966 Distinguished Service Citation
During the thirty-six years that you have served in various capacities with the Westinghouse Electric Company, you had the opportunity to put into practice the principles of inventiveness and engineering that you acquired in the laboratories of Beloit College. Your work in nuclear physics has resulted in many patents and inventions. Your achievements in the Manhattan District, Oak Ridge, Argonne, and Bettis laboratories have advanced the nation’s progress in nuclear power development. Even in retirement your studies are solving new problems in this field. As you join your classmates in observing the anniversary of their graduation forty years ago, Beloit College is proud to present you with this Distinguished Service Citation.
