Everything you need to know to be a Buccaneer

Register for one of three sessions:

• July 7, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. CST
• July 8, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. CST
• July 9, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. CST

Beloit College 101 is your official welcome to the Beloit College community! This two-hour online event (with an optional third hour) will introduce you to life on campus, the academic experience, and the people who will support you throughout your journey here. You’ll hear from the College President, get a crash course in student life, wellness, financial aid, and more. You’ll also get to join breakout sessions on topics that matter most to you — from residence life and recreation to student support and financial aid.

What to Expect

Hour One

Welcome to Beloit College (students and families)
The first hour features a live, large-group meeting for students and families. You’ll meet campus leaders and learn more about academic structure, student life, wellness resources, and financial aid and billing at Beloit College. This hour sets the stage for your Beloit College experience and introduces many of the people who will be part of your support network.

Hour Two

Student and Family Breakouts
In the second hour, students and families attend separate breakout sessions.

• Students will rotate through short, focused sessions on residence life, student activities, health and wellness, and real talk from current Buccaneers about life on campus.
• Families will hear from staff about supporting their student, financial aid and billing, and other key campus services.

Hour Three (optional for students and families)

Office-Specific Small Group Sessions
The final hour is designed for a deeper dive into specific topics. Each session runs three times within the hour, so you can attend multiple sessions to get your questions answered.

Students and families can join small group sessions hosted by:

• Financial Aid and Student Accounts
• Learning Enrichment and Disability Services (LEADS)
• International Student Services
• Buccaneer Athletics
• Residence Life
