To help you navigate your journey to campus, we’ve created this timeline and checklist with everything you need to set sail smoothly into the fall semester. From important deadlines to move-in must-haves, it’s all here.

    Through the Advanced Mentoring Program (AMP), you’ll get personalized support as you start your college journey. You’ll be matched with an AMP Faculty Advisor who shares your interests — someone ready to guide, challenge, and cheer you on from day one.

    Housing Agreement and Roommate Questionnaire, Meal Plan Selection

    Attendance at Summer Orientation is mandatory. Select from 3 options — June 18: In-Person Summer Orientation, July 7: Virtual Summer Orientation, morning session, July 8: Virtual Summer Orientation, evening session.

    Summer Orientation — in-person, on campus

    One of three orientation sessions. Attendance at one is mandatory. Running from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. this in-person session will provide the most in-depth experience for students who are able to travel to campus.

    Activate Beloit College Email Account

    Your Beloit College email is how you will communicate with campus offices and access the resources needed to complete your onboarding checklist.

    Final High School Transcripts

    After completing your high school coursework and final exams, please ensure that your final official transcript is sent to the Office of Admissions. This is an important step in finalizing your enrollment at Beloit College.

    Final College Transcripts (Transfer Students)

    After completing your coursework and final exams, please ensure that your final official transcript(s) are sent to the Office of Admissions. This is an important step in finalizing your transfer to Beloit College.

    Dual-Enrollment and Standardized Exams Score Reporting

    If you have taken dual enrollment courses or AP, IB, or other standardized exams for potential college credit, please ensure that your official transcripts and/or score reports are sent directly to Beloit College. This will allow us to evaluate your results for possible academic credit and placement.

    Language Placement Exam & Conversation

    Whether you’re building on past experience or starting fresh, studying a language at Beloit College opens doors to new cultures, perspectives, and adventures. To get started, connect with faculty to find the right course for your level.

    Request Academic Accommodations

    Billing Statements Released

    The Bursar’s Office will send you your first-semester billing statement, which will provide a detailed overview of your account and outline any remaining out-of-pocket costs.

    Beloit College ID Form

    Your Beloit College ID is your key to campus — it grants you access to your residence hall, meal plan, campus mail, and much more. To ensure your ID is ready you when you arrive, be sure to submit your photo as soon as possible.

    Use of Preferred Name on Campus Form [Optional]

    At Beloit, we’re committed to fostering an open, inclusive, and respectful campus community. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to use a preferred first and/or middle name in place of their legal name wherever possible across campus systems and communications.

    Individual, online AMP Advising and Registration appointments

    Sign up for an individual appointment with your Advanced Mentoring Program (AMP) advisor to register for classes.

  • Jul. 7, 2026

    Virtual Summer Orientation, morning session

    One of three orientation sessions. Attendance at one is mandatory. This condensed virtual session runs from 8-10 a.m. central time.

  • Jul. 8, 2026

    Virtual Summer Orientation, evening session

    One of three orientation sessions. Attendance at one is mandatory. This condensed virtual session runs from 6-8 p.m. central time.

  • Jul. 7, 2026

    Virtual AMP Group Advising, morning session

    Meet with your Advanced Mentoring Program (AMP) faculty advisor and your fellow AMP advisees for the first time! You’ll get to know each other, prepare for the fall semester, and cover everything you need to know before your individual course registration meetings. This 10 a.m. session follows the Virtual Summer Orientation morning session. Attendance at one of two Virtual Group Advising Sessions is required for first-year students.

    Virtual AMP Group Advising, evening session

    Meet with your Advanced Mentoring Program (AMP) faculty advisor and your fellow AMP advisees for the first time! You’ll get to know each other, prepare for the fall semester, and cover everything you need to know before your individual course registration meetings. This 8 p.m. central time session follows the Virtual Summer Orientation evening session. Attendance at one of two Virtual Group Advising Sessions is required for first-year students.

    We love keeping our students’ families in the loop! By staying connected, you’ll receive helpful updates, important college news, and invitations to events that make you feel part of the Beloit College community.

    Sexual Violence and Hazing Prevention Awareness Assignments

    As part of our commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and healthy campus community, all students are required to complete tutorials on awareness and prevention of sexual assault and hazing before arriving on campus. This important resource helps you start your college journey informed and empowered.

    Student Immunization Record

    To support a healthy campus community, all students are required to complete and submit proof of immunizations in accordance with Wisconsin law and Beloit College policy.

    Health Insurance Waiver

    To ensure all students have health coverage, Beloit College automatically enrolls students in the college’s health insurance plan at their own expense. Domestic students with comparable coverage may waive this plan by submitting an opt-out request.

    Financial Aid Loans: Direct & PLUS

    If you’ve accepted Direct or PLUS loans, you’ll need to complete loan counseling and sign a Master Promissory Note (MPN) to finalize your aid.

    FERPA Student Records Release [Optional]

    A student’s academic and financial information are protected under federal law, so Beloit College can only discuss details with the student. However, students may choose to grant access to a parent, guardian, or other trusted individual to view and discuss their academic and/or financial records with Beloit College.

  • Due: Jul. 15, 2026

    Athletic Health Forms

    All athletes are required to have a Sports Pre-Participation Exam, conducted by a physician, prior to the start of a season.

    Travel Itinerary (International Students)

    Once your flights are booked, please share your travel details so we can get ready to welcome you to campus.

    Pay Tuition or Set Up a Payment Plan

    To stay on track for the semester, be sure your tuition is paid in full or that you’ve set up a payment plan. This needs to be in place before you can start classes or request transcripts.

    Financial Aid Loans: Beloit College & Strong

    If you’ve accepted Beloit College or Strong financial aid loans, you’ll need to complete loan counseling and submit a Master Promissory Note (MPN) before funds can be disbursed.

    Tuition Insurance Plan [Optional]

    To help protect your investment in your education, you have the option to purchase tuition insurance. This coverage can provide valuable peace of mind by offering reimbursement if you need to withdraw from the semester due to a medical illness.

    You made it — your college journey has officially begun! Celebrate this exciting milestone with your classmates at the Convocation ceremony.
