Yaksh Toyesh Ujoodha ’25 is a Concierge Intern at ABC Supply.

Yaksh is learning that being technically strong and having a good command of coding languages is proving beneficial in acquiring new ones such as Python and SQL. He’s also seen how critical it is to be up-to-date on industry terms and business needs of the organization, as well as the importance of great communication and teamwork skills.

Though most of Yaksh’s work is done remotely, he appreciates the inclusive culture and is glad that everyone is welcoming and checks in on his progress.

Yaksh’s advice for aspiring data scientists is to seek opportunities in non-tech companies to leverage tech skills and drive growth, embrace the learning journey, and value hands-on experiences. Also ask questions and engage with colleagues for deeper insights.
