Meet Shaira Manandhar, an Impact Beloit Community Fellow and senior at Beloit College from Nepal, majoring in data science and business management.
Shaira is gaining hands-on experience working at the Stateline Boys & Girls Club in Beloit as a Human Resources Office Assistant. In her role, she updates job descriptions and improves employee evaluation forms, which streamlines hiring and onboarding processes. Shaira uses what she has learned in her data analytics coursework, especially how to clean and update data, to organize the Boys & Girls Club’s employee data efficiently.
During her fellowship, Shaira honed her skills communicating with senior leadership and improved how she manages her time. Shaira celebrates her experience because she enjoyed building relationships with staff and youth at the Club, where her work supports a meaningful cause.
