Physical exams

A physical exam is not required, but is strongly encouraged. If you have a chronic illness or any other health concerns, we recommend that you make an appointment to see your regular health care providers before starting the academic year at Beloit.

Athletics Pre-participation Exam

All Buccaneer athletes are required to have a Sports Pre-Participation Exam, conducted by a physician, prior to the start of their season. The exam form can be downloaded from the Athletic Training Electronic Medical Record database (Sportsware). For access details, visit Athletic Training.

Immunization records

According to Wisconsin law and Beloit College policy, all entering students born after 1956 must show proof of one of the following proofs of immunity. The dates/records of immunizations must be entered on the Student Health Immunization form.

1. Having had two doses of MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, and rubella)
2. Having had the diseases measles, mumps, and rubella
3. Laboratory evidence of immunity (titer)

Immunization awareness verification

Wisconsin law requires the following:

1. All college students be informed about meningococcal meningitis and hepatitis B.
2. Colleges maintain (confidential) records of students’ vaccinations.
