Spring Dates

Details

To ensure all Beloit College students have access to adequate medical and mental health care, all students are automatically enrolled in Beloit’s student health insurance plan through Wellfleet.
The 2025–26 annual cost of coverage is $2,301, billed as $964 for the fall semester and $1,337 for the spring semester. Opt-in coverage and competitive vendor vetting allow the College to better manage healthcare costs.
Waiving Wellfleet Coverage
Students who are covered by other, comparable medical insurance may opt out of the Wellfleet plan by submitting an online waiver by July 15. Wellfleet must confirm your coverage before the waiver is approved.
Note:
-
If you have Medicaid coverage from any state, you may opt out.
-
If you are covered by a cost-sharing program such as Medishare, you must remain enrolled in the Wellfleet plan.
-
Your healthcare coverage must be confirmed annually.
International Students

J-1 Exchange Visitors (non-ISEP): Due to visa requirements, all international students holding J-1 Exchange Visitor Status through Beloit College are required to maintain Wellfleet insurance coverage.
-
ISEP Exchange Students: Students studying at Beloit College through the ISEP program are automatically waived, as the ISEP-required insurance meets Beloit College’s standards.
