LaVaughn and Bartholomew “Keck” Kunny Endowed Biology Scholarship
Awarded each year to students majoring in biology, with preference given to students with an interest in freshwater or marine biology or related fields, this scholarship was established in 1998 by family and friends in memory of Bartholomew “Keck” Kunny, who served as professor of biology at Beloit College for 28 years (1948 to 1976), as a faculty marshal, and chaired the biology department and the science division. The scholarship recognizes and encourages students who share Professor Kunny’s enthusiasm for learning and his interest in science and biology.
