R. R. Palmer Teaching Fellowship in Physics

This fellowship recognizes junior or senior physics majors of high scholarship and potential in teaching, for their work as teaching assistants in an introductory course. Professor R. R. Palmer, former chair of the physics department, was known for his boundless energy and enthusiasm for teaching. The fellowship was established in 1975 by alumni and staff in honor of his seventieth birthday.
