John Hughes Student Entrepreneur of the Year

This award recognizes the student who best implements a new business venture or otherwise best exemplifies the spirit of entrepreneurship as it may be applied in academia. Established in 1998 by the department of economics and management to honor John Hughes, a major benefactor of the college and its programs, this award is now given by the Center for Entrepreneurship in Liberal Education at Beloit (CELEB).
